Raising Disciples at Home : Nurturing Your Kids into Faithful Followers of Jesus

Feeling unqualified to disciple your children? Discover a biblical approach to family discipleship that replaces pressure with peace and helps Christian parents faithfully point their children to Jesus.

Raising Disciples at Home encourages Christian parents who feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of raising children in the faith. Drawing from Scripture and his experience as a children’s pastor and father of four, Chris Ammen shows that discipleship begins with God’s work―not parental perfection. You’ll learn what biblical discipleship truly is, how God shapes both parents and children into Christ’s image, and how to faithfully participate in His work with confidence, humility, and dependence on Him.

You’ll discover

• understand why God―not parents―is the foundation of your child’s spiritual growth
• replace fear, guilt, and inadequacy with biblical confidence rooted in God’s faithfulness
• practice practical habits that encourage everyday family discipleship and Christ-centered parenting
• lead your children toward spiritual maturity through faithful dependence on God instead of personal performance
• grow as a parent while God shapes both your heart and your children’s hearts into the likeness of Christ

As a children’s pastor and father of four, Chris Ammen understands the pressures parents face and offers practical, Scripture-centered encouragement for leading their families with grace, wisdom, and confidence in God’s power rather than their own abilities.

Whether you’re leading family devotions, answering your children’s questions about faith, or simply seeking to raise children who know and follow Jesus, Raising Disciples at Home will help you embrace biblical parenting with renewed peace, trusting that God is faithfully accomplishing what only He can do.
