Kara Yokley is a data science entrepreneur who balances motherhood and career. She lives by the principles of adaptability, resilience, and enduring curiosity, which were encouraged by her mother and coauthor, Constance. Kara holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics with economics from Harvard College and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School.

Constance Yokley has a bachelor's degree in psychology and math and a master's degree in math education. She has worked as a mentor to exceptional learners for more than twenty years. Her successful parent-child educational programs have been incorporated into curricula across the country.
