Raising Kids Who Hunger for God

How do parents encourage their children to desire spiritual guidance and a moral life? Read fables to them? Send them to church? Maybe, but they can do so much more too.

Using time-tested principles and anecdotes from their own family of six children, Benny and Sheree Phillips suggest practical things parents of young children and adolescents can do to build character in their kids. Raising Kids Who Hunger for God explains ways to teach children respect, responsibility, and responsiveness; ways to shape their concept of God; and more.

A popular, readable style and a preventative approach combine to make this guidebook one that will save many parents the anguish of losing their children to apathy or rebellion. Special advice for single parents is added throughout.

Benny Phillips, senior pastor of Metro Life Church in Orlando, and Sheree Phillips, author of two books, speak at family and parenting seminars. They live in Winter Springs, Florida with their six children.
