In the year 478, a Heruli warship arrives in the Greek port of Pylos. On board the Heruli's warship are many African Bantu men, women, and children. The Heruli captured the Bantu to be sold as slaves. The Bantu were powerless to defeat the fierce Heruli. The Bantu prayed to God to help them. The Bantu prayed to God to free them. God heard their prayers. The Ram of God is based on the Bantu legend of the Beberu Munga - Ram of God.

About the Author

Edward Ronny Arnold may have created the first electronic book. In 1984, he created a stand-alone computer program which allowed a person to read the story in one of eight reading speeds. The story he created was titled, The Story of Creation. The Story of Creation is the computerized version of the first chapters of Genesis from the King James version of the Holy Bible.

In 1989, Edward created the first electronic newspaper, News Disk (R). News Disk (R) contained real photographs, animation, sound effects, and voice. The February 1990 issue, dedicated to Black History Month, included portions of a speech made by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The speech was the actual voice of Dr. King. In 1992, News Disk (R) was included in an exhibit of software at the National Demonstration Lab of the Smithsonian Institute and the Library of Congress.

Edward was selected to participate in the First Annual Celebration of Inspirational Authors held in conjuction with the Southern Festival of Books Fall 2002.

Edward's first book, Rebecca, was one of five finalists for the 2003 EPPIE award for Best Inspirational Book.
