Random Ragoût: Prose and Poetry

A Ragoût is a thick and spicy stew whose name comes from the French ragoûter, meaning "to revive the taste." As it consists of various meats and vegetables, the stew's Random nature suggested this collection of short stories and poetry. With elements of adventure, science fiction, humor, and romance seasoned by an ample supply of the author's grief, this book spans a hodge-podge of subjects and styles.

As its writing attempted to distract the author from the pain of losing his beloved wife, so reading it will serve to divert and entertain the reader with variety, rhythm, rhyme, suspense, jokes, and pathos. A delicious assortment of tasty plot, character, and verse awaits.
