Early edition (1888). Bound in decorative brick-red cloth with black embossed lettering and graphic to front cover, blind-stamped graphic to rear, and gilt embossed lettering to spine. Very good with no dust jacket. Book shows light edge wear, previous owner's book plate to the interior of the front cover, very light foxing to decorative fly-leaves, discoloration to first title page, and light browning to page edges, which does not effect the text. Interior remains crisp and clean, binding firm. A solid copy.
