Random Recollections: The Life And Times And Something On The Personal Philosophy Of A Twentieth Century Cowman, An Autobiographical Account

Hardcover; Near Fine; No Dust Jacket; 111 pp., portrait. A tight, clean, near fine copy less dust jacket, as issued. Born in 1868, Dan D. Casement was one of the best loved stock men of his time. Educated and articulate, he was a rancher in western Colorado in the early 1890's and for nearly 64 years the owner of the bounteous Juniata Farm on the Big Blue River a few miles north of Manhattan, Kansas. A great read explaining the philosophy of self-reliance and self determination. Campbell 101, #15, 44 & 44,#47, Herd #428
