Item description from seller

Adventures in the Rifle Brigade in the Peninsula, France and the Netherlands, from 1809 to 1815. This book is inscribed on the front free end page in black ink. The inscription is addressed to John Bright (a radical and liberal statesman) from the nephew of John Kincaid (who is also named John Kincaid). This is dated 1876. The cover shows some shelf wear. The backstrip of the spine is coming loose. There is some light staining and scratches. The corners are worn. The title on the spine is faded and wearing away. The binding is sound. There are no loose pages. The top page edges are painted. There is some foxing on the end pages, otherwise the pages are clean and in great condition.
