Roger Anderson and his wife Carol have spent their careers as rangers with the National Park Service, serving since 1980 in five national parks across the country, including more than 40 years of combined service in Yellowstone. Their work has primarily been in visitor education and park management, sharing the values and stories of these treasured places with people from all over the world. They've also written for numerous natural history magazines and co-authored the book, Yellowstone: The Story Behind the Scenery. They have now retired and live near Yellowstone.
