1948. Hardback. Extremely rare. Includes "Reprisals" by William Butler Yeats. A poem he wrote following the death during World War I of Robert Gregory, the son of Yeats' mentor Lady Gregory. She wrote the poem "gives me extraordinary pain" and because of this Yeats did not publish it nor did he include it in any future collection. According to the introduction page of RANN the edition was to ".welcome the return of Yeats to Ireland". Poetry from other poets include Norman Nicholson, Nesca A. Robb, Maurice Lindsay, George Buchanan, Barbara Green, Hirokuni Dadai (translated from the Japanese. Dadai was chief of police of Hiroshima. His poem is titled '6 August 1945'), May Morton, Oliver Edwards, Roy McFadden, and William Allingham. 12pp. Good clean copy showing very little age or wear. A fine copy. . . . .
