At the innocent age of seventeen, Katie fell in love with a child's beautiful face and one year later unknowingly married a pedophile. Both were to influence her life forever. Before this book was written, Rita wrote short stories and articles for a small local newspaper and has won several writing contests in various magazines. Her ultimate dream was to write a novel, hence came Raphael Forever. She lives in the beautiful little town of Pewee Valley, Kentucky. She loves reading, writing, her great-grandkids, and her lifetime friend Raphael.
