About the Author

The author of this book, Mr. Charles W. Hitz (Chaz), is originally from Seattle, Washington. Besides writing, Mr. Hitz enjoys fly-fishing, photography, amateur radio, and is a life-long learner. He currently holds a BS from Western Washington University, two Master degrees from Seattle Pacific University, and is currently working on a third Masters from Central Washington University. Chaz also participates on a number of fundraising committees for Young Life in the Puget Sound area in general, and for the Malibu Club in particular. Until recently he worked for the Boeing Company with over 18 years of service in the computing field, and now teaches part-time at local community colleges in the Seattle area. Mr. Hitz currently resides in Kirkland, WA, and is presently writing a biography of Thomas F. Hamilton, the builder of the Malibu Club
