VERY RARE OLD MINERS PROSPECTING NOTICE (Precious Metals, Base Metals, and Precious Stones) SALISBURY, RHODESIA, now known as Harare in Zimbabwe CENTRAL AFRICA 1954 Printed on Cloth Printed on cloth, this is a very attractive and rare old Miners Prospecting Notice issued to a Samuel Howard Davies in Salisbury Rhodesia in Central Africa, now known as Harare in Zimbabwe, the notice was posted on 21st December 1954, with the nail holes with some rusting marks visible in the corners and edges, the cloth is a little creased ( these could be ironed out if desired ) frayed to edges else in good condition the Notice measures 12 inches by 8 inches approx.
