Raven Two Bone (Paperback)

Paperback. Long before the rise of ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, Native Americans lived and thrived in the forests of eastern America. They did so without horses, cattle, swine, goats or sheep. They lived successfully off, and in balance with, the varied lands around them - Anthropology tells us for over 15,000 years. Early explorers brought European diseases to the Americas, thus decimating clans, villages, and cities. One hundred years later, settlers found a large land with a small population of recovering natives. This story takes place at the very beginning of the influx of European settlers. It is about those who lived there up to that time. Ignorance and expectations forced the name of Indian upon them. Be aware that they were their own people with their own ways and names, forever lost. This item is printed on demand.
