Small 8vo. Pp. 128. Frontis. photo of the Washington Building at the AYPE. Illustrated throughout with more than 25 black-and-white illustrations. Fold-out map in front. Decorated endpapers. Bound in yellow cloth, a bit soiled, with SEATTLE stamped in black on spine. The map, tipped in to frontis., has caused that leaf to come loose. Plenty of great ads for local businesses, including that for the publisher, Charles Raymer. His ad reveals he came west from Minnesota, landing in Spokane where he opened Raymer's Old Book Store, thereafter buying C. T. Randall's Seattle Book Exchange. Among the photos is an interior shot of his bookshop. Scarce in hardcover, usually found in printed yellow wraps. SMITH 8515. Seller Inventory # 4882
