About the Author

<b>Mary Adams Trujillo</b> is a professor of intercultural communication and conflict transformation at North Park University. <b>S.Y. Bowland</b> is a conflict resolution practitioner and an educator. She is committed to understanding conflict resolution processes and their impact specifically on Black and multicultural communities. <b>Linda James Myers</b> serves as academic vice president and dean of the School of Graduate Psychology of New College of California. She is the author of numerous journal articles, book chapters, and three books. <b>Phillip M. Richards</b> has been a visiting professor at Boston University and most recently at the University of Grenoble in France. He is currently an associate professor at Colgate University. <b>Beth Roy</b> is a long-time mediator in the San Francisco Bay area. A founder of the Practitioners Research and Scholarship Institute (PRASI), she teaches in the Peace and Conflict Studies program at the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of several books including <i>The Bernal Story Mediating Class and Race in a Multicultural Community.</i>
