In the near future, a Klaxian expedition, with a sentient starship, Re-Contacts Earth with a startling message. We belong to an interstellar human community we had forgotten. They introduce themselves as our lost relatives and warn us that a Naga'Nx armada is closing in on Earth from interstellar space, determined to exterminate all humans in the Galaxy. 'Re-Contact' is like 'First Contact' but with a dose of 'Tough Love'. They offer to help us defend ourselves, but their demand is simple; "Unite or die!" Jim Spaulding has been writing since he was a kid, and this trilogy was concieved and started as a teenager. However, life interferred in the completion and publishing of fiction books for many years. He has a number of business and non-fiction publications, and copyrights on over thirty Educational Software packages. He also wrote Rebuilding Rose which was published by MBI in 2004, but this is his first of his 'Retro-SF' fictional series to make it into press. Dr. Spaulding attended night school at Villanova, Widener, Immaculata, and Penn State Universities: studying mathematics, engineering, management, and education. He has had a full career in the Aerospace and Computer industry and founded three businesses of his own. He is a Systems Engineer and IT consultant who focuses on professional teaching for corporations and local universities, and writes in his spare time, sails on the Chesapeake Bay and enjoys a large family in Southeast Pennsylvania.
