Re-Forming

What if the reason lasting transformation seems so difficult is because we've been trying to change the wrong thing?

Do you love Jesus but find yourself trapped in recurring patterns of anger, fear, lust, anxiety, discouragement, or other sinful habits despite your sincere desire to follow Him?

Many Christians have been taught to focus primarily on changing outward behavior. Yet Scripture points to something much deeper. Lasting transformation occurs when Christ changes the inner structures that shape our thoughts, desires, decisions, and habits.

In Re-Forming: Transformation Through Reconstruction, John V. Ruggiero presents a fresh biblical perspective on spiritual transformation through an in-depth study of Romans 6-8 and many other passages of Scripture. Rather than simply asking believers to try harder, this book explores how God reconstructs the inner "members" where sin has established its influence so that righteousness becomes the natural expression of a transformed life.

Inside you'll discover:

- Why behavior modification alone rarely produces lasting freedom.

- The biblical difference between the struggle of Romans 7 and the freedom of Romans 8.

- How recurring sinful patterns are formed-and how they can be dismantled.

- The Nine Progressions that explain how both sin and righteousness become established in our lives.

- How Christ transforms believers from the inside out through spiritual reconstruction.

- Practical biblical principles for experiencing lasting spiritual transformation.

Whether you are a new believer, a mature Christian, pastor, teacher, counselor, or disciple-maker, Re-Forming offers a thoughtful, Scripture-centered framework for understanding how Christ transforms His people from the inside out.

If you long for more than temporary victory over sin-if you desire lasting spiritual transformation and a renewed passion for Jesus-this book will encourage, challenge, and equip you to experience the freedom Christ intends for every believer.
