Katie Crosbie Holland has loved writing for as long as she can remember. She “published” her first newspaper at age eight, wrote her first chapter book in third grade, and later spent five years as a television news reporter for an NBC affiliate. Getting to share people’s stories was one of her greatest honors. For the next decade, her career took her to the pharmaceutical industry, where she prided herself on never losing sight of the patients. Now, Katie is delighted to focus on bringing stories to children. Her husband serves as an Air Force pilot, and they live with their children wherever the military sends them―currently the great state of Texas. They enjoy two-stepping, live music, and good conversation. Katie grew up in Minnesota, graduated from college in California, and interned in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Washington, D.C. She holds a master’s degree in education.
