Reaching for the High Note: An Anthology of Indiana Music

Indiana entertainers have seen many changes through the years, but one universal truth unites them: They are all...Reaching for the High Note

Music truly does make the world go around. It affects our moods and adds to everything we do. Can you imagine a film without music surrounding the scenes - making us laugh, making us sigh or making us cry? Without music, there would be no dancing. Can you imagine that?

The entertainers mentioned in this book deserve to be in the Indiana Musician's Hall of Fame. Until that occurs, I hope this book is a living tribute to their achievements.

Besides being a respected musical historian, Larry Goshen is an accomplished musician and drummer who has performed with such groups as The Crowns, The Five Checks, and Sweetwater. Larry operates Face the Music, a photographic company specalizing in publicity photographs for celebrities. He lives in Historic Fountain Square in Indianapolis, Indiana.
