Reading the Bible With Purpose

Do you check off your Bible reading as just another item on your to-do list? Learn to read the Scriptures in a new, relational way as you discover the book of James in this innovative, Spirit-led twelve-week study.

Rather than using question answering in daily assignments, this fresh approach to Bible study encourages you to stop and listen to what God is saying to you.

Author Misty Fitch says we enter into an intimate conversation with God when we read Scripture. “Isn’t it wonderful that the creator of all things yearns to spend such sweet time with you? Allow yourself to truly enter into his presence as you read the words he so lovingly placed on those pages for you.”

Here are the unique differences in this Bible study:

1. After an introductory story, the reader will meditate on the Scripture reference of the week.
2. Throughout the week, the reader reflects on the Scripture and what God is saying to her through journaling.
3. At the end of the week, relevant and insightful teaching comes in the relatable weekly wrap-up.

A reader’s guide, reflection questions, and study questions are included to help apply the Scriptures to real life.
