Not found in OCLC. In this large format coloring and activity book the authors write "These are four activities with which a child must become acquainted during his first years in school. It is the purpose of READING, COLORING FUN to introduce the child to these activities, and to teach him while he plays." Maud C. Stubbings was a noted primary school educator in the Chicago public school system. She authored several 'learning to read' books and activity books aimed at children in the first grade. Genevieve Watts was an educator in the [Mark] Twain School of Chicago, also in the public school system. She co-authored several books with Stubbings. Chicago Tribune July 1955.
