Page edges also marked in ink and soiled. Board edges and spine rubbed, bottom corners heavily bumped, gilt lettering faded. Missing dust jacket. This reader anthologizes key texts to a classical mid-century college education. Before one rails against the canon (dead white males) perhaps one should know what it looks like first. Collectible.
