This book is stated as "A special printing of two thousand copies by the Indiana Historical Society for distribution to its membership in 1956". Was also originally issued as Indiana Historical Collections Volume XXXVI. Includes an extensive index approximately 14 pages. Interior pages are bright with browning on edges. Binding is firm despite being a paper binding and having 625 pages. Very solid; dense. Interior pages have NO hand writing, tears or folds. Green paper covers are soiled and faded. Spine is browned. Paper covers are attached and starting to separate on bottom by spine. This is NOT and ex-lib or remainder.Over sized book will probably require extra postage. Covers have borne the wear of this book's 70 year old life. See pictures. Note: We use "Fine" book condition judiciously; only when the book exhibits no flaws. A Fine book closely approaches ?As New? condition and may not have been previously owned. Any flaws (writing, tears, creases) are exceptions to a Fine condition and should be clearly described for a book and dust jacket.
