Pamela D. Blair, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist and pastoral counselor in private practice in Hawthorne, NY. She is the Director of the Divorce Resource Network, a columnist for Single Living magazine and a Contributing Editor for Divorce Magazine. She has appeared on many radio and television shows including Geraldo.

Brook Noel is the author of two other highly-acclaimed books, Back to Basics: 101 Ideas for Strengthening Our Children and Our Families and The Single Parent Resource. Currently, she writes as a columnist for Mom.Com and is the Editor-in-Chief of SingleParents: The Lifestyle Magazine for Today's Single Parent. Noel regularly conducts workshops on parenting and writing and has taught or lectures at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, The Los Angeles Times and many others.
