About this Item

Paperback. Life with his foster parents kept him busy, but for the past eight years Gilvar and Yrtem had refused to take Deevurn to the neighbouring village. While their decision was founded on fears for his safety a world confined to the hold was, quite frankly, boring. At almost seventeen years he still resembled a child of no more than twelve in stature. Escape from the hold seemed unattainable. No one would hire a child, and without food, shelter, and a wage he had no hope of surviving. Then Bithor dal Rr'tjissor came to visit and Deevurn got far more than he had bargained for.
