Item description from seller

Part of the Real Books Series for young readers ages 9-12, this one is about space, "the exciting story of a great new frontier," published at the dawn of the US space program. In 192 pages, with black-and-white illustrations throughout. A Book Club Edition from 1952 (NOT the later revision!), this slim hardcover has blue cloth-covered boards with orange & black design & lettering. Condition is VG: extremely clean, binding tight & square, pages slightly off-white. Rubbing to extremities, particularly lower corners/heel of spine. The unclipped DJ is Good+/VG-: bright & colorful, but with chipping & old tape repairs; looks nice in new mylar cover! Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
