The Real Friday Jones

"The Real Friday Jones," unveils a brutally honest inside view of what it is like to be chased by the choices from a complicated past and to hit a wall in a beautiful magnificent way. Khansa Jones-Muhammad is "The Real Friday Jones", a true story, that overflows with the things movies are made of, where there are no fans, no fame, or fortune; where life forms shackles and air becomes like the ocean drowning the soul. "The Real Friday Jones," explores how Friday's formative years of sex, violence, and abandonment collide with an adult Friday as she digs herself out of the rabbit hole, finding the tools for both self-discovery and forgiveness, that have created the indomitable success story we know today. This emotionally raw memoir will empower those who have been through the toughest of times to rebuild their lives and cultivate their authentic voice in an "unapologetic" way.

KHANSA JONES-MUHAMMAD is "The Real Friday Jones," born and raised primarily in the "Do or Die" Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York during the crack cocaine epidemic and the birth of Hip-Hop. Hopefully her personal journey might inspire other people to embrace their truth and to fall in love with who they are. Friday Jones is the girl next door with a story to tell!
