The Real Life Series is written to teach children ages 6 to 9 about the fundamentals of Christianity. These fun, scriptural messages help kids understand salvation, the Holy Spirit, and healing on their level. Each book contains 12 delightful illustrations that help illuminate these life-changing concepts. Author Rod Baker has worked in children’s ministry for the last 20 years in prominent ministries such as the 20,000-member church, Victory Christian Center and 12,000-member church, Church On the Move, both located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Rod Baker has served for over 20 years in children’s and outreach ministry. He currently serves as director of the children ministries at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He ministers to more than 4,000 children each week through children’s church, bus ministry, Sidewalk Sunday School Trucks, and Kidz Clubs, as well as a food pantry which feeds over 2,000 people a month.

Under Rod’s direction, the Victory Kidz School of Ministry is training up children’s and youth workers for this millennium while his newly developed, "Leaders in Training" program, is producing the same from our inner city youth. Rod has successfully taken hundreds of children on mission trips integrating the curriculum being taught in all the children’s ministries.
