A real photo postcard with a photograph of an Asian family relaxing by the side of the road, near what appears to be a 1917 Ford Model T Touring car or similar (the stamp box dates the postcard to 1904–1917). The youngest child wears a pair of driving goggles. At the time, touring by car was a novelty, often involving navigating poor, unpaved roads and pulling over to camp right beside one’s car. Real photo postcard measuring 3 ½ x 5 ½ inches.
