Reality Check (Paperback)

Paperback. Rugged, handsome, quick-witted, and tremendously popular with fans, coaches and teammates alike, B.J. MacPherson fought his way out of a rough Toronto suburb to realize his dream of playing professional hockey. A cheap shot in a championship game cut the team captain down in his prime, leaving him paralyzed and doctors declaring he'd never walk again. Through grit and determination, B.J. clawed through the mental and physical nightmare of losing control of the large athletic body that helped him excel in the only career he ever knew, and vowed to return to the ice on skates.
