About the Author

She received a bachelor s degree in international relations from Brigham Young University and a master s degree in professional writing from New England College. She has also worked as both a paralegal and as an adjunct professor of English. With her husband, Brian C. Hales, she coauthored Joseph Smith s Polygamy: Toward a Better Understanding and maintains the website JosephSmithsPolygamy.org.
