With vivid illustrations and accessible text by scholars in the field contextualizing the Royal Chicano Air Force’s legacy within Chicanx history, political activism, and American art, this striking book will help bring this heavily influential group and movement to life. It also accompanies an upcoming exhibition of the same name at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, California.
