278 pp. Octavo [21.5 cm]; quarter black cloth over blue boards, with gilt title on spines. Edges and corners are rubbed and bumped, and gilt on spine is slightly worn. Boards exhibit mild rubbing from dust jacket handling. Previous owner's inscription in pen on front free endsheet, and in marker on the inside of dust jacket. Corners of boards and spine ends are moderately creased from bumping. In a good dust jacket, with overall rubbing, most noticeably to corners and spine ends, where there is creasing and loss of color. The dust jacket has been folded in several spots, resulting in a (~1 inch) split at the front flap hinge, along with light marked creases on spine.
