Recent Advances in Computer-Aided Control Systems Engineering (Studies in Automation and Control)

The previous book on this subject by the above mentioned editors was published in 1985, and was very well received. Significant advances have been made in Computer-Aided Control Systems Engineering (CACSE) since that time, as evidenced by the contents of the present book.

The main focus of this volume is on the research aspects of computer-aided control systems engineering, and is intended to be the first in a series on the topic. With the emphasis on current research the papers include subjects in six topical areas: Algorithms; Artificial Intelligence; Data Structures; Environments; Real Time Control; and Simulation. The twenty articles have been written by leading authorities in this field and will provide a definitive reference source for anyone interested in the latest advances and results of current experimental research in computer-aided control systems engineering.
