Recent Forgeries is a very handsome full color catalog from an exhibition of the actors paintings, drawings & photos along with his poetry and writings.The exhibit was held in 1998, and was his first exhibit. .Many do not know that Mortensen is a prolific artist, aside from his work as an actor, and is known for his roles in Eastern Promises (Oscar nominated) The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Portrait of a Lady, and A History of Violence. There is also a CD-ROM included which includes. music and poetry produced by Mortensen as well. Nicely produced and illustrated with many illustrations and photographs. Published without a dustjacket. Fine.
