Teachers agree that they continually learn from their students. This has been Mrs. Cornwell's experience. Designing and modifying activities to fit the student created success and built her files. Many notes jotted in the middle of the night developed new ways to help Sara or Kent with their reading.
Besides elementary classroom teaching, Mrs. Cornwell home- schooled her own children for several years. Tutoring and substitute teaching have also been a part of her career.
Susan Cornwell's motto:
A wise teacher makes learning a joy.
