Count Johann Bernhard von Rechberg und Rothenl�wen (1806-1899) was an Austrian statesman and a member of the House of Rechberg. Steel engraving on wove paper, sheet size 288 x 220 mm., platemark 220 x 179 mm. Engraving by August Weger, after an anonymous photograph. Printed by Weger and published by Baumg�rtner. August Weger (Nuremberg 1823-1892 Leipzig) was a German steel engraver, active from c. 1840 to 1870. From 1849 he worked in Leipzig. In very good condition, clean and crisp. Some small creases and minimal discolouration in the margin edges.
