Recipe for Disaster

Didi Dodo, Future Spy: Recipe for Disaster is the first book in a hilarious early chapter book series set in the Flytrap Files universe from New York Times bestselling author Tom Angleberger and illustrator Jared Chapman.

Meet Didi Dodo. She's a dodo and a spy. Or she will be, once she's hired!

Meet Koko Dodo. He's a dodo and a baker. And when someone steals his Super Secret Fudge Sauce just before the Royal Cookie Contest, he gives Didi her very first case.

With quick thinking, plenty of determination, and a daring plan to catch the culprit, Didi is ready to prove she has what it takes to become a real spy. But solving a mystery is never as easy as it seems, and unexpected twists await around every corner.

Perfect for readers transitioning to chapter books, this laugh-out-loud adventure combines mystery, humor, and quirky characters in a fast-paced story that will keep young readers turning pages.

"Full of surprise twists, this title will engage readers who will have a fun time guessing what will happen next . . . A must-have." ―School Library Journal
