Hardcover. Brown binding with blind-stamped border on front and back covers and gold stamping on spine in good condition, especially considering age, with wear, fading, and some discoloration on covers and spine. Black library code painted on lower spine, which is bumped and torn at foot and header. Bumped and somewhat worn corners on both covers. Discoloration and tearing on front end-paper and free end-paper and black and white bookplate on front end-paper. Binding is somewhat delicate, with sections throughout pulling slightly from binding. Some slight discoloration present on fly-leaf, frontispiece, and title page. Pencil annotations and blue stamp present on copyright page. 420 pages. Title page dated 1869. Includes a black and white frontispiece illustration plate depicting the Capitol at Washington, D.C. Despite wear and slightly delicate binding, this copy is in good condition with clean, square pages.

Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
