Interior typically toned. Free of foxing or known marginalia. Binding tight and intact. A solid, readable copy. Please see photos. One of the rarest of the big hunting titles, privately printed by George L. Harrison in an edition of 250 copies for distribution to noteworthy African sportsmen and other luminaries. Harrison who was on a safari in Rhodesia in 1908 not only hunted with Finaughty s son, but later met the author and was given a set of the Rhodesian Journal which had serialized the elder Finaughty s recollections.
