Your aim is fine. Your recovery isn't.
You've mastered the mechanics, learned the maps, and put in the hours—but why does your performance still swing wildly? One session you're landing every shot; the next, you're missing easy plays and tilting after losses. The problem isn't your skill. It's the invisible performance ceiling created by sleep debt, poor recovery, and a nervous system running on fumes.
Recover Like a Pro Gamer is the no-nonsense guide to unlocking consistent, high-level play through tactical recovery. Written for grinders, streamers, and competitors who need results—not wellness lectures—this book treats sleep, energy management, and nervous system control as competitive skills you can measure and improve.
Inside, you'll discover:
Sleep Architecture for Gamers: Learn how REM sleep sharpens strategy while deep sleep cements muscle memory. Understand why fragmented sleep kills reaction time and how to protect the sleep stages that actually matter for performance.
Reaction Time as a Recoverable Metric: Stop treating reaction speed as fixed. Use simple at-home tests, smart warm-ups, and daily audits to catch performance drift before it costs you matches.
Caffeine Strategy That Works: Discover precise timing windows, micro-dosing techniques for long sessions, and how to avoid the jittery variance that ruins clutch plays.
Nervous System Management: Master quick physiological resets, breath techniques that calm tilt in 60 seconds, and micro-routines between matches that restore focus without killing momentum.
Tournament Protocols: Get exact checklists for pre-match preparation, between-map resets, and post-loss scripts that stop emotional spirals before they spread.
Light & Circadian Control: Learn how to phase-shift for late-night matches, manage light exposure like a performance drug, and build your optimal play window around your chronotype—not someone else's schedule.
Practical Nutrition & Hydration: Fuel strategies for pre-session energy, mid-session refueling, and late-night streams that preserve steady hands and clear decision-making.
The 30-Day Challenge: A compact, measurable plan to improve reaction consistency, reduce tilt frequency, and build long-term recovery habits that survive chaotic schedules.
This isn't about living like a monk or following rigid routines you'll abandon after a week. It's about small, tactical moves that compound into measurable gains: tighter reaction windows, fewer rage quits, and the durability to play at your best for years, not weeks.
Whether you're climbing ranked ladders, streaming marathon sessions, or competing at LANs, Recover Like a Pro Gamer gives you the practical recovery stack that turns erratic performance into reliable excellence.
Stop grinding harder. Start recovering smarter.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
