Red Fox Dances

Longing for the delicious feast that has been prepared by Little Pig and her friends, Red Fox hides behind a bush to wait for an opportunity to steal but becomes so wrapped up in the music and fun that he gives himself away.

PreSchool-Grade 1?Two slight stories starring the same characters. In the first tale, Little Pig kicks her ball over Dan Dog's head. When he doesn't come back with it, she starts crying and one by one is joined by Tabby Cat, Fat Hen, Big Duck, and Lucy Goose. Dan Dog finally reappears, ball in hand, and all begin to laugh. In the second story, Red Fox is out hunting for dinner when he spies Little Pig dancing and Dan Dog fiddling. As the tempo increases, the other animals join in. Red Fox can resist the beat no longer. Out he jumps, bragging that he'll show everyone how to dance. He becomes so involved that he doesn't realize until too late that the music has faded and his dinner has danced away.
