Astounding color-illustration of battle scenes in style of Plains Indian art, with narrative from a participant, Red Hawk. Frontispiece and title page has art in color showing Indian encampment and sites of battles with both Custer's and Reno's troops. DJ price-clipped, color-illustration of battle on front, spine and back. DJ creased at top front, 1/2" tear and nick at spine top right edge, micronick and very slight wear at spine bottom edge, tiny tear, microtear and micronick at top back edge, tiny light brown spot at top back. DJ and book, both just Good.
