About this Item

A near very good copy in the publisher's orange cloth. The binding retains strong red lettering to the spine and front board. It is very slightly grubby, with a little bubbling to the cloth at the front hinge. Otherwise everything is square and tight, with only very light wear. Other than a prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, the contents are clean and bright, with no inscriptions or other markings. A fascinating first hand look at life in the trenches of WWI.
