Vivid red cloth boards, minor fading around edges. Corners/edges show some wear. Bookstore sticker inside front board. B/w frontispiece. 398 pgs. Two gouges on top pg edges resulting in some tearing along top pg edges inside. Interior is otherwise clean. DJ is faded along spine. Edges/corners are worn and cracked. The title page says four illustrations by Douglas Duer but the frontice and cover illustration say Denman Fink who was a Florida artist of some reknown. There are no interior illustrations except as title headings for the chapters. A red covered reprint of Harper original.
