This oblong, spiral-bound book is an in-depth study by the Post Intelligencer of Seattle, WA exploring current (1970) problems and issues faced by the American Indian. The articles were written by Hilda Bryant after four months of research and personal visits to 22 Indian reservations in eight states. She taped interviews with elected officials of about 50 different tribes representing Northwest, Southwest, South, East and Plains Indians and interviewed government officials concerned with Indian Affairs. The condition of the softcover book is very good. The pages are clean and free of marks, tears or folds. The cover shows wear and is a bit ragged around the edges. Seller Inventory # 000496
