286 pages with two page pictorial title and end paper map. Octavo (8 3/4" x 6") bound in original publisher's red cloth with green pictorial and lettered spine and cover in original pictorial jacket. Second edition. In this work the author has delved deeply into the Hopi culture to produce a book which, with great feeling, explains tribal lore and customs. The Hopi's innate life on a reservation is revealed as is his genuinely wonderful sense of humor. Condition: Corners gently bumped, spine heal and corners gently rubbed. Jacket corners and spine head lightly chipped, some closed edge tears and minor chips and edges, 1/2" chip at front fold over edge with closed tear else a very good to fine copy in a very good dust jacket.
