Red All Over: Brummie Reds - Never Far Away

After the success of Steve's (aka GRANGE) first book 70's GLAM, GRIME & PETTY CRIME he takes us on another roller-coaster ride not only through the 70's but also the 80's & 90's. In the 45 years Grange has followed Man United home & away he's seen it all.

Best, Charlton & Law - The shock of Manchester United in Division 2 - The Red Army numbering 20 even 30,000 running riot and completely taking over towns and away grounds - battles with United's biggest rivals both on the terraces and outside football grounds -

Doc's free flowing football - Sexton's boring blackboard tactics - Big Ron's Nearly Team - Fergie's Glory, Glory Years and the turbulent years since Sir Alex retired.

In his new book RED ALL OVER Grange cover 24 of his most shocking, frightening and hilarious away days. From mass pitch invasions at Wolves in '71 - being attacked by French riot police and bombarded with missiles by the home fans, St. Etienne '77 -

Germany '78 preseason tour being shot at by a German gangster in a Düsseldorf bar - through to WELCOME TO HELL! the outrageous and sometimes terrifying antics of the visit to Galatasaray in '93.

And as a little twist to the usual Boys Own football tales, as a little reminder each chapter has a brief account of how United were doing at the time and a relevant match report.
