Red and Purple Fish

Being asleep for two weeks straight? What a blast! But a coma is nothing like that, besides the general belief even among many medical professionals. During an induced coma, many patients experience anything from beauty to terror to their worst nightmares.

Seems unfamiliar? But that's the truth behind an induced coma. Like many others, it was no different for Amelie when she was admitted to the hospital due to what seemed a simple bacterial infection and ended up in a 16-day induced coma, which nearly ended her life. In this book, she relates her experience and expresses how the brain likes to play tricks on us and how miserable it makes us feel. Amelie, a strong-willed woman, fights tirelessly against all the odds to win her life back again.
